NOTICE TO REAL ESTATE LICENSEES OF RULE CHANGES
At its August 13, 2014 meeting, The Georgia Real Estate Commission voted to adopt changes to the “Maintaining a License“ Rule concerning the renewal, reinstatement and activation of individual licenses and to the “Real Estate Courses” Rule concerning alternatives for meeting continuing education requirements for individual licenses.
At its August 13, 2014 meeting, The Georgia Real Estate Commission voted to propose changes to the “Management Responsibilities of Real Estate Firms” Rule addressing the use of support personnel.

NOTICE TO REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS OF A PROPOSED RULE CHANGE
At its August 20, 2014 meeting, The Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board voted to withdraw the proposed changes to the “Appraiser Classifications and Their Education, Examination, and Experience Requirements” Rule. Another version of this Rule will be considered by the Board at its September meeting.
At its August 20, 2014 meeting, The Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board voted to adopt a change to the “Reinstatement of a Lapsed Appraiser Classification “ Rule concerning the reinstatement of an appraiser classification.
